[FOIL] ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK #1 PETER HAN AKIRA HOMAGE NYCC EXCLUSIVE VAR (10/28/2026)

Once you go in, you don’t come out— —unless your name is Snake Plissken! Plissken now survives as a coyote, smuggling people and contraband across the dangerous dead zones between prison territories like Chicago. It’s a hard and bitter job. But when he’s hired to extract a woman wanted by the city’s warlord, Snake sees one more chance at redemption—or one more chance for the universe to kick his ass. Introducing new settings and characters with all the dystopian insanity you know and love, superstar writer & film director Kyle Higgins teams with artist Val Rodrigues for an explosive new series revamping the beloved film franchise!

Important Note on Condition

**CONDITION POLICY**

New release comics are received, carefully bagged and boarded, and shipped directly to you. We handle every book with care and do our best to send you copies in the best shape possible.

That said, **we cannot guarantee Mint (9.8) condition on any book.** Printing and bindery imperfections are part of the industry - not every copy off the press qualifies as a 9.8, and we have no way to guarantee which copy you'll receive.

Our new releases are generally **Near Mint (NM 9.4 or better)** unless otherwise noted. Common allowable defects at NM include:

- Minor spine dings or stress marks
- Slight cover wear from handling or shelving
- Printing artifacts (color rubs, paper waviness from the press)
- Small bindery offsets, especially on cardstock covers

If you have specific condition requirements, we're happy to answer questions before you order - just reach out.

**Highly discounted or clearance items are sold as-is.** Condition is not guaranteed on sale items.

Review our Refund Policy for our full return guidelines.
